WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?

Whoa, slow down there, caps lock. Let’s just take our finger off the Shift key and ask things like civilized human beings.

My first human memory would have to be a time when I thought it would be a good idea to flip the bird to everyone around me in first grade.

When I was a kid, I though that the magic of the middle finger’s potent offensiveness was not being shown the front side of said finger, but being pointed at with that finger. I walked around thinking people were angry at God and flipping Him off.

So, I hatched a foolproof plan to please Him. I decided to flip off the Devil.

As we lined up to walk to Gym class, I told my friends to join me in my holy crusade. Together, we pointed our middle fingers down, towards the ground, and paraded around as we unknowingly flipped off every single person in the building.

We didn’t even get in trouble.

Alright, let’s go ahead and skip the introduction post. You know, the one that spends two and a half paragraphs outlining who I am and what I like and how many stickers I can fit on my lunchbox? No, I’m gonna go ahead and narrow all of that down into five bullet points so we can move on professionally and quickly. Sound like a plan? Alright.

I’m Alex.
I’m 14.
I like the ladies and drawing and writing and and great many other things, too.
I’m single and unenthusiastic about it.
I’m almost entirely completely pretty much absolutely average, despite how cliche that sounds.

That’s it. That’s all. Let’s move on, shall we? Bloggin’ time.

Spring Break just ended for me, unfortunately, and that means a twelve-hour drive back to Ohio, a state that has climate seizures instead of seasons, and the last two months of Middle School until three months of sleeping until noon, and then off to my new high school. I thought that moving to a new school and leaving all my friends and memories behind would be harder than this, but in reality I’m rather indifferent to the whole thing. I feel like I should care more than I do, but I don’t, so I don’t worry myself about it. It’s just Middle School! It’s not like I’m going off to college or dying or anything.

So that’s where I’m at. Stuck between two schools. Out of the frying pan, into the toaster.
